Mario Miralles

Mario Miralles García is a Spanish pianist, harpsichordist, and organist based in London, admired for his versatility and refined musicianship. His repertoire spans early to contemporary music, and he is equally active as a soloist, chamber musician, and song accompanist. He has appeared at leading venues including Wigmore Hall, the Old Royal Naval College Chapel, Blackheath Halls, and St. James’s Piccadilly in London, as well as the National Museum of Catalan Art, the AXA Auditorium, and the Cathedral of his native Barcelona.

Mario’s work reflects a deep commitment to both vocal and instrumental collaboration. Recent highlights include a live-streamed performance of Schubert’s Trout Quintet from St. James’s Piccadilly and a growing focus on the German and Spanish song repertoire. As a harpsichordist, he specialises in early Iberian music, with a highlight being his performance of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5. Future engagements feature him as a soloist in Grieg’s Piano Concerto with the Hemel Symphony Orchestra.

He trained at the Royal Academy of Music, where he completed an MMus and DipRAM in Piano Accompaniment with Michael Dussek and Andrew West, following earlier studies in Piano Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. His artistry has also been shaped by guidance from distinguished figures such as Pascal Rogé, Rolf Hind, Mikhail Kazakevich, Michael Dussek, Nuccia Focile, Angelika Kirchschlager, Dame Felicity Lott, Eugene Asti, James Bailieu, Joseph Middleton, and Wolfram Rieger.

Alongside performing, Mario is deeply engaged in piano pedagogy. His dynamic and empathetic approach to teaching has earned him a reputation as an inspiring and sought-after mentor, committed to fostering artistry in students across all ages and levels.
