Mario Miralles

Mario Miralles García is a Spanish pianist, harpsichordist, and organist based in London, admired for his versatility, expressive depth, and refined musicianship. Equally at home as a soloist, chamber musician, and song accompanist, his repertoire spans early music to contemporary works. He has performed at prestigious venues including Wigmore Hall, the Old Royal Naval College Chapel, Blackheath Halls, and St. James’s Piccadilly in London, as well as the National Museum of Catalan Art, the AXA Auditorium, and the Cathedral of Barcelona.

Recent highlights include a celebrated performance of Grieg’s Piano Concerto with the Hemel Symphony Orchestra and a live-streamed rendition of Schubert’s Trout Quintet from St. James’s Piccadilly. As a harpsichordist, he specialises in early Iberian music, with notable performances including Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5. Upcoming engagements feature the Warsaw Concerto with the Holland Park Sinfonia.

Mario trained at the Royal Academy of Music, where he completed an MMus and was awarded the DipRAM in Piano Accompaniment with Distinction under Michael Dussek and Andrew West, following earlier studies in Piano Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. His artistry has been further shaped by distinguished mentors including Pascal Rogé, Rolf Hind, Mikhail Kazakevich, Michael Dussek, Nuccia Focile, Angelika Kirchschlager, Dame Felicity Lott, Eugene Asti, James Baillieu, Joseph Middleton, and Wolfram Rieger.

Alongside his performing career, Mario is a specialist piano teacher at Langley Hall and West London Free School, the UK’s most comprehensive school. Renowned for his dynamic and empathetic approach, he inspires students across all levels, nurturing artistry, technique, and musical confidence.
